How we review and rate movies at Bappam
Bappam operates with full editorial independence. We never accept payment for positive reviews or to change a rating. Our reviews are not influenced by production houses, distributors, streaming platforms, or advertisers. Every rating on Bappam is our honest, unbiased editorial opinion.
Sponsored content, if any, will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement" in compliance with advertising standards.
We always watch the complete film before writing a single word. No review is based on trailers, clips, or second-hand accounts.
We assess story/screenplay, direction, performances, cinematography, music/BGM, editing, and overall entertainment value independently.
We research the director's previous work, source material (if adapted), genre conventions, and cultural context relevant to the film.
All reviews are 100% original. We never copy from other publications. We write clearly and avoid spoiling major plot points.
We assign a numerical rating out of 10 and a clear verdict: Must Watch, Watchable, Average, Disappointing, or Skip It.
If a film's OTT availability changes, or new information emerges (awards, sequels), we update the review and clearly note the revision date.
Our ratings are on a 0–10 scale (not 5 stars) for precision. Here's what each range means:

We strive for accuracy. If you spot a factual error in any of our reviews (wrong cast member, incorrect release year, etc.), please contact us. We will investigate and correct genuine errors promptly, noting the correction at the bottom of the article.
Opinion and ratings are not subject to correction — they are editorial judgments.
Bappam is firmly opposed to film piracy. We will never link to, host, or promote access to pirated movie content. All "Where to Watch" information on our pages points exclusively to legal OTT platforms and authorised streaming services. This is a non-negotiable editorial standard.
